Is Liberation Day a Public Holiday?

Liberation Day is not a public holiday in Norway, but it is a flag day. Since 1962, the day has been marked by flying Norwegian flags on public and private flagpoles all over the country.

Since 2010, Liberation Day has also been National Veteran’s Day in Norway.
