Is Whit Sunday a Public Holiday?
Whit Sunday is not a public holiday. It falls on 8 Haziran 2025 Pazar and most businesses follow regular Pazar opening hours in Finland.
According to Christian texts, the Holy Spirit, often symbolized by a dove, descended on the apostles who received the gift of tongues. Pentecost celebrates this event.
