When Is the Next Lunar Eclipse?
There are at least 2 lunar eclipses each year. Find out when the next one is and if you can see it from your location.

The next lunar eclipse will be on 7 Eylül 2025.
It will be a spectacular total lunar eclipse where the Earth's umbra, the darkest part of its shadow, completely covers the Moon. Because a totally eclipsed Moon is usually colored red, total lunar eclipses are also called Blood Moons.
A lunar eclipse can be seen from all locations on the night side of Earth.
This eclipse will be visible in Istanbul. It will begin at 18:28:25 local time when the Earth's shadow will begin covering the lunar surface. The eclipse will be over at 23:55:08.
